Women's Outdoor Adventure Weekend

Greenland Point Center is offering a Women’s Winter Weekend.  It will take place February 22-24, 2008.  The weekend will include the Maine Snowmobile Safety Course, along with many of Maine’s favorite winter activities.  These activities may include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice-skating, ice fishing, tracking, map & compass, canoe sliding, and winter hiking. 

No prior outdoor experience is necessary.  Any equipment that will be needed will be provided by Greenland Point Center.  Of course if you have your own equipment you may bring it.  The ladies will be staying in heated cabins and they must provide their own bedding (i.e. sleeping bag, pillow, blanket).  You will need to bring warm winter clothing and footwear.  If you have any special diet needs we will gladly accommodate them.  The total cost of the weekend is $200.
